PV Sindhu is one of the top shuttlers, across the globe.Having won the gold at the World Championships this year, Sindhu asserted her dominance as one of the all-time greats of Indian badminton. Currently ranked sixth in the world, she has won a number of accolades and scripted numerous records. PV Sindhu became the first ever Indian women to win the silver medal in Rio Olympic 2016 Women’s Singles Badminton event. Sindhu competed against Carolina Marin of Spain but lost 21-19 12-21 21-15 in the summit clash of the women’s singles competition at the Rio Games.
