滋賀県から京都へ、琵琶湖疏水を運行していた船を運航させるために敷かれた傾斜鉄道の跡地。南禅寺の近くにある、全長581.8mの世界最長の傾斜鉄道跡。線路沿いには約90本の桜が植えられており、線路に降り注ぐように咲き誇るピンク色の桜と線路が織りなす光景が絶景です。
