Former Penang Port Commission chairman Jeffrey Chew will be remanded until Saturday.

Lawyer RSN Rayer, who represents Chew, said the arrest was made following a recent report lodged with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) but declined to reveal details.
