Although it was after midnight when I checked in. I still did my Hotel Room review of the Holiday Inn Express, Dubai Airport.

A very well located budget hotel for a stopover at Dubai Airport. Arriving at midnight and flying at 11am the next morning. I did not want to spend a fortune on just a bed for the night.

A little search on the internet came up with Holiday Inn Express Dubai Airport. It is only a stones throw from the airport. However it does take 15 mins ( 10 mins in a cab ) by shuttle bus.

I always book direct. as you will get the best deal and also less chance of a booking error. Not fun with a midnight check in.

I recommend booking brand hotels. When your requirements are a clean comfortable room for the night. Surprises are not a good idea with a late check in after a long flight.

The room as you can see was comfortable with all the basic amenities. Likewise the bathroom had a good shower with clean towels and a spotless toilet. The hotel itself has a gym, bar area ( smoking allowed and was quite smoky ) and a good if not outstanding breakfast.

In conclusion I would recommend for an overnight but not perhaps for a longer stay in Dubai.
