President of the European Central Bank Christine Lagarde says that the world might have passed the worst of the COVID-19 crisis, but a return to the status quo is unlikely.
Speaking during the online Northern Light Summit on Friday, she added that the recovery is going to be incomplete and transformational as there could be a second wave of COVID-19.
She said the ECB will come up with an effective fiscal stimulus to stabilize the European economy.
Last Friday, Lagarde estimated there would be an 8-point-7 percent contraction of growth in 2020.
