Gupt navratri which has special importance in Hinduism, starts today. Different forms of Maa Durga are worshiped on the 9th day of Gupt Navaratri falling on the Shukla Paksha of the month of Magh. It is said that very few people know about the Navratri that takes place in the month of Ashadh, so it is called Gupt Navratri. Special wishes are attained in this Navratri.

हिंदू धर्म में विशेष महत्व रखने वाली गुप्त नवरात्रि का आरंभ आज से हो रहा है. माघ महीने के शुक्ल पक्ष में पड़ने वाली गुप्त नवरात्रि के 9 दिन मां दुर्गा के विभिन्न स्वरूपों की पूजा की जाती है. ऐसा कहा जाता है कि अषाढ़ महीने में होने वाली नवरात्रि का ज्ञान कम ही लोगों को होता है इसलिए इसे गुप्त नवरात्रि कहा जाता है. इस नवरात्रि में विशेष कामनाओं की सिद्धि की जाती है.
