How we started our tour of Pakistan's Jewel Skardu, Gilgit Baltistan Travel Day 1, Skardu is a town in Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan and serves as the capital of Skardu District. Skardu is located in the 10 kilometres (6 miles) wide by 40 kilometres (25 miles) long Skardu Valley, at the confluence of the Indus and Shigar Rivers at an altitude of nearly 2,500 metres. The town is considered a gateway to the eight-thousanders of the nearby Karakoram Mountain range. The town is located on the Indus river, which separates the Karakoram Range from the Himalayas.

Pyala Lake is a round lake in Jalkhand, Kaghan Valley, Mansehra District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It is about 40 kilometres (25 mi) from Naran.
Lulusar lake ⁃ elevation 3,950 m (12,960 ft)
Chilas is a historical city of District Diamer, Diamer located in the Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan on the river Indus. It is part of the Silk Road. We stuck at chilas due to landslides.
Reached in end to Bunji is a small town in Astore District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. it is historically important being at the end of Dogra Rule before 1948 it was over stop and stay reached with 12 hours delay.
