The killing of 46-year-old George Floyd at the hands of four Minneapolis police officers on Monday has led to civil unrest across the United States. On May 29th, Derek Chauvin, the white former police officer who used his knee to pin down Floyd, was arrested and charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter. Although the case is far from over and protests are still happening throughout the US, friends and family of George Floyd are also taking the time to remember his life. It turns out he had a brief rap career.
