Bar Scott has been writing songs for over thirty years. She was an ASCAP Special Award recipient for thirteen years, and has released seven albums of original songs. In 2011, she published her first memoir, The Present Giver, (ALM Books) about her son Forrest's life and death at age three-and-a-half. In 2016, she published a workbook for writers called The Lone Writer's Writing Club, a collection of prompts and stories written by herself and other writers in response to the prompts in the workbook.
