Fairground workers across Spain protested on Wednesday (June 10), requesting help from Spanish authorities in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis.
In Madrid, thousands gathered in Puerta del Sol outside the office of the President of the Community of Madrid. They held signs reading "Fairground workers need help from the government" and observed a minute of silence in honour of COVID-19 victims.
Around 30,000 people staged similar protests across the country.
