The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh is going to do more vigorously to stop cow slaughter and cow smuggling. Now those who cow in the state will be sentenced to 10 years and fined five lakh rupees. For this, the Yogi cabinet has ammendment the cow slaughter law. The state government has approved Prevention Law Amendment Ordinance 2020. Which will take the shape of the law after the approval of the Governor.

उत्तर प्रदेश की योगी सरकार गो हत्या और गो तस्करी रोकने के लिए अब और सख्ती करने जा रही है। प्रदेश में अब गो हत्या करने वालों को 10 साल की सजा और पांच लाख रुपये का जुर्माना लगाया जाएगा. इसके लिए योगी कैबिनेट ने गोवध निवारण कानून में संशोधन किया है. प्रदेश सरकार ने निवारण कानून संशोधन अध्यादेश 2020 को मंजूरी दी है। जो राज्यपाल की मंजूरी के बाद कानून की शक्ल ले लेगा.
