WFP “北 주민 1천만 명 이상 인도주의 위기 직면”
More than 10 million people in North Korea are going through a humanitarian crisis.
The UN's World Food Programme said Tuesday that almost 40 percent of North Korea's population need humanitarian aid.
It added that 1 out of 10 children below 5 years old are underweight and 1 out of 5 have stunted growth.
It also said 14-point-4 million North Koreans not have access to clean water.
The WFP plans to provide 54 million U.S. dollars of food aid to help 1-point-2 million North Koreans.
