A leopard cub was rescued from a dried well in central India on Monday (June 8).
The incident took place in the village of Pimpalwadi, near Pune, Maharashtra state, with footage showing forest department officials using a rope collar to coax the cub into a basket.
Reportedly the cub had accidentally fallen into the well while its mother was waiting in a nearby sugar cane field. Immediately after being rescued the cub rushed towards its mother.
