Penang police crippled two drug syndicates with the arrest of five suspects, including the mastermind and the seizure of drugs worth RM1,276,331 in a two-day operation.

The suspects aged between 24 and 45, comprised a local man and four Myanmar nationals have been remanded until June 12 to assist in investigations under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act.
