Severe cyclonic storm Nisarga made landfall in Alibaug in the coastal region of Maharashtra on Wednesday afternoon. Cyclone Nisarga caused heavy rains in Mumbai, Pune, Thane, Raigad and Ratnagiri districts. Strong winds lashed the coastal region. The cyclonic storm hit at a speed of about 120 km per hour, due to which most areas of Mumbai received rains with strong winds.
