A huge pillar of smoke was seen rising into the sky along highway 17 from a nearby burning field in North Carolina on Wednesday (June 3).

The filmer told Newsflare: "I'm unsure if this was a controlled burn or an act of violence due to civil unrest, but there was a massive fire burning just off of Interstate 17 North heading toward Pollocksville and New Bern North Carolina from Jacksonville, North Carolina."
