The Food City supermarket located at 3442 W. Van Buren Rd. in Phoenix has been temporarily closed since September 2019, when a fire in an adjacent building damaged a significant portion of the surrounding shopping center. The grocery store has been not only been restored from fire and smoke damage, but it also was remodeled to better serve customers. The newly refurbished Food City location features wall-to-wall remerchandising and the introduction of an all new baby aisle, along with an expanded in-store restaurant.
