This is the amusing moment a confused cat tried to pick a fight with its own reflection in the mirror.

The pet, named Boonkoon, was scratching the surface of the mirror in his house in Bangkok, central Thailand on April 30.

At first he was aggressively trying to hit its reflection in the mirror while meowing, then began to stroke the reflective surface as he explored the view.

Boonkoon's owner, Ae, said: "It looks like my cat is playing with his reflection, but he was terrified because it looked exactly like him."
