Red Sox, Bruins Release Statements on George Floyd

Until Tuesday, the Celtics were the only Boston sports team to speak out and release a statement on the murder of George Floyd and ensuing protests.

The Red Sox and Bruins both shared messaged on social media about where they stand as organizations, with the Sox plastering "Black Lives Matter" on the Green Monster at Fenway Park. The Patriots are now the only team that has yet to comment on the matter.
