During a press conference on Tuesday, Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the government has granted permission for remaining childcare centres in the country to operate starting June 2.

He said the decision came about after the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry came out with satisfactory and comprehensive standard operating procedures (SOPs) for childcare centres.
