Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award: Sachin, MS Dhoni & Virat Kohli have won this Award. The Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna is regarded as the highest honour for a sportsperson in India. Officially known as the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award in Sports and Games, the annual award, which is named after India's former Prime Minister recognises extraordinary performance in sports over a period of four years.

हिटमैन रोहित शर्मा को भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड ने इस साल के राजीव गांधी खेल रत्न अवार्ड के लिए नॉमिनेट किया है। रोहित ने पिछले चार सालों में बेहद शानदार प्रदर्शन किया है और वो इस सम्मान को पाने के हकदार हैं। रोहित ये सम्मान पाने वाले महज चौथे क्रिकेटर होंगे।इस साल के खेल के सबसे बड़े सम्मान के लिए टीम इंडिया के विस्फोटक ओपनर रोहित शर्मा का नाम बीसीसीआई की तरफ से भेजा गया है।
