The chairman of the Railway Board spoke in front of the public about workers' special trains. It was also clarified from the railways that the reports of trains going astray are wrong and told how many trains were diverted. He said that so far a total of 3840 trains were run, out of which 71 trains were diverted, that too between 20-24 May so that the needs of the states could be met.

रेलवे बोर्ड के चेयरमैन ने श्रमिक स्पेशल ट्रेनों को लेकर अपनी बात जनता के सामने रखी। रेलवे की तरफ से ये भी स्पष्ट किया गया कि ट्रेनों के भटकने की खबरें गलत हैं और ये बताया कि कितनी ट्रेनों को डायवर्ट किया गया. उन्होंने बताया कि अब तक कुल 3840 ट्रेनें चलीं, जिनमें से 71 ट्रेनों को डायवर्ट किया गया, वो भी सिर्फ 20-24 मई के बीच में ताकि राज्यों की जरूरतें पूरी हो सकें।
