AIDS activist, playwright Larry Kramer dead at 84
Playwright and well-known AIDS activist Larry Kramer has died of pneumonia at 84. Starting in the early 1980s, Kramer spoke out forcefully in support of AIDS victims and corrected misconceptions about the virus.
