China has sent medical supplies to countries in Africa since the coronavirus outbreak hit the continent. During the National People’s Congress, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said on May 24, 2020, that China and Africa would continue to work together to fight the Covid-19 pandemic as “good brothers who share a common fate”.
