"북한, 외국인 코로나19 제한 추가 완화…백화점 등 방문 허용"
North Korea has eased the restrictions it put on foreigners in the North amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Russian Ambassador to North Korea wrote on his Facebook account that embassies and international organizations received a diplomatic note saying all foreigners are now allowed to visit department stores, which had been off limit.
In April, the regime lowered its restrictions on foreigners visiting stores, restaurants and traditional markets.
The Russian embassy in North Korea also said the North's measures had been effective.
