As of May 19, a total of 265 investigation papers have been opened relating to fake news on Covid-19, said Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

He stressed that the police and Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission will not hesitate to take action against individuals for spreading fake news.
