Following weeks of reported symptoms and clinical evidence, the US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently recognised the loss of taste and smell as indications of Covid-19 infection. Now a team of researchers at the University of Hong Kong have learned more about how the coronavirus that causes the disease affects these senses.
