Haryana Minister Anil Vij on Saturday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a bigger brand name than Mahatma Gandhi. "Since the time Mahatma Gandhi’s image associated on currency notes, it has been devalued," Vij told news agency ANI on the controversy of Modi’s image replacing Gandhi’s on Khadi and Village Industries Commission's calendar.
Later, Vij said that the comment he made on Gandhi was his personal opinion.
