The Uttarakhand government has given a variety of discounts to farmers, hotel-restaurants and dhaba owners along with paying electricity bill to industries. The Cabinet has approved the proposal for power exemption in four categories. Hotel, restaurant and dhaba operators will not have to pay a fixed charge for three months (April to June). Fix demand charge from industries has been postponed till June.

उत्तराखंड सरकार ने किसानों, होटल-रेस्टोरेंट और ढाबा मालिकों के साथ उद्योगों को बिजली बिल भुगतान में कई तरह की छूट दी है। मंत्रिमंडल ने चार श्रणियों में विद्युत छूट के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दी है। होटल, रेस्टोरेंट और ढाबा संचालकों को तीन माह (अप्रैल से जून) का फिक्स चार्ज नहीं देना होगा। उद्योगों से लिए जाने वाले फिक्स डिमांड चार्ज को जून तक स्थगित कर दिया है।
