Chicken Fajita Thin Crust Pizza Recipe | Food Celebrations
Ingredients:
For the dough
Yeast 1 tbsp
Sugar 1 tbsp
Warm water 1/2 cup
Flour 3 cups
Oil 1 tbsp
For the Marination
Boneless chicken cut into strips 350 g
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Hot sauce 1 tbsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Pepper 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Paprika 1 tsp
Cumin 1 tsp
Oregano 1/2 tsp
Red chilli flakes 1/2 tsp (optional)
Oil 2 tbsp
Chopped Garlic 1 tbsp
2 Chopped green onions
1 sliced tomato
1 sliced red bell pepper
1 sliced onion
1 slice green pepper
Pizza sauce
Shredded mozzarella cheese
Sliced jalapenos
Olives
Tomato sauce
Method:
Take 1 tbsp of yeast, add sugar and ½ cup warm water. The yeast will be activated in 10 minutes. Add this mixture to 3 cups flour. Add salt to taste and knead the dough by gradually adding a little water. Let to proof for 1 – 1 & ½ hour till the dough is doubled in size.
Marinate the chicken with all the spices for at least 1 hour. Take 1 tsp oil and add the chopped garlic. Add the marinated chicken and cook. Add the sliced tomatoes, bell peppers, onions and lemon juice.
Roll out the dough. Spread the pizza sauce in the dough. Add the chicken mixture. Spread the shredded cheese. Decorate with bell peppers, sliced onions, tomatoes, jalapenos and olives. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 15 – 20 minutes.
