Delhi government on Friday proposed that cars with odd and even numbers can hit the roads on alternate days in the national capital from January 1. Delhi high court will hear on Wednesday a plea seeking a stay on the city government's decision to restrict the number of private vehicles on roads based on the odd-even number of their licence plates.
