A major railway accident occurred near Karmad railway station in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. A freight train trampled 16 people, killing them. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal and other leaders have expressed grief over the accident.
