The World Health Organization is warning countries emerging from restrictions to proceed “extremely carefully".
The organization is concerned about the risk of a rapid rise in new cases related to the easing of restrictions.
Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said countries need to ensure they have tracking systems and quarantine provisions.
“The risk of returning to lockdown remains very real if countries do not manage the transition extremely carefully".

The highly contagious disease has infected over 3.8 million people in the world, with over 265,000 deaths.
