Good afternoon Mark, I'm near Yeouido Station in Seoul where many of the capital's companies and businesses are located. Today is actually the first day back for many workers after the long holiday. Right now, it's lunch hour. As you can see behind me,...
The streets are full of people on the way to lunch, but I have to say,...despite the warm weather, many people are still wearing face masks both inside and outside.
As the South Korean government started to ease some of the social distancing restrictions last week, you can see more and more restaurants and coffee shops reopened their doors and are busy with customers.
I spoke to someone working in this area and she told me that she had been ordering a lot of delivery food because she was worried about eating at the local restaurants.
However, after the government eased the social distancing rules, she has been joining her colleagues to grab a bite to eat at some of the local eateries here. Reporting live from Yeouido , back to you, Mark.
