Former vice president, and the presumptive Democratic nominee in the 2020 presidential election, Joe Biden has flatly denied the sexual assault allegation made by former Senate staffer Tara Reade 27 years ago. In a statement, Biden said "it never happened." He reasserted that Reade's allegations were "not true” in a live interview with MSNBC's Morning Joe the same day. This is the first time Biden has publicly addressed the accusation.
