The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases in the Philippines has surpassed the 7,000 mark, the Department of Health (DOH) reported on April 24, Friday.
The DOH reported 211 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, raising the country’s total to 7,192.
The death toll jumped to 477, as the DOH bared that 15 more patients passed away due to COVID-19.
Meanwhile, 40 more patients have recovered from the dreaded disease. This brings the total number of recoveries to 762.
