Two high school twins were gunned down this week and are being mourned in their California community.
According to Newser their mother's ex-boyfriend has been arrested and charged in their deaths.
Caira and Leah Christophe were 15-year-old sophomores at Helix Charter High School in La Mesa, California.
They were described by a relative as "always smiling and always happy."
The pair were killed in their Lemon Grove residence during a domestic violence incident. Their mother's boyfriend, Dwayne Edward Groves Jr., was arrested.
He's been charged with murder, attempted murder, and assault with a deadly weapon.
