Due to continuous rainfall, Maharashtra is reeling under severe flood. Cities like Mumbai and Pune are witnessing frequent downpours due to which normal life has been disrupted. People are facing problems like waterlogging and traffic snarls and these have exposed the preparedness in both the cities. Low-lying areas in the Sangli and Madhya Pradesh’s Betul are flooded with rain water.
