In a symbolic protest, Indian officer denied to handshake with Pakistan representator and greeted him with folded hands at ICJ in The Hague.
Meanwhile, Kulbhushan Jadhav, the former Indian Navy officer lodged in Pakistan jail, appeared at The Hague as the International Court of Justice began the public hearing in the 2017 espionage case. The 48-year-old was sentenced to death by a Pakistani military court on charges of espionage and terrorism in April 2017. India moved the ICJ in May the same year against the verdict.
