Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday directed all the district magistrates to ensure strict actions against those who have been leaving their cattle on roads. The officials are also asked to impose fine on the owners when they come to reclaim their pets. Addressing the district magistrates (DMs) through video conferencing, Adityanath said they should ensure that farmers and residents do not face any problems due to stray cattle. The stray animals, including cattle, should be transported to 'Gau Sanrakshan Kendras' by January 10, Adityanath added.
