RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das on Friday announced measures to boost the economy towards recovery. RBI slashed the reverse repo rate by 25 bps to 3.75 per cent. The central bank announced a special Rs 50,000 crore targeted long-term repo operation, called TLTRO 2.0, to address the liquidity needs of the NBFCs and microfinance institutions.
