아베, 코로나19 긴급사태 선언 오늘 전국으로 확대
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe reportedly decided to place all of Japan under a state of emergency to curb the spread of COVID-19... as the number of confirmed cases tops nine-thousand.
The country first implemented such measures on April 7th on Tokyo and six other prefectures.
Multiple local media outlets reported Thursday the declaration allows governors to call for schools and businesses to close until early May... but stated it's not a lockdown.
The declaration also approves the spending of state budget to help citizens and businesses weather the economic fallout from the coronavirus crisis.
