Johor Police Chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said they are on the trail of a few individuals believed to be masterminds of a human trafficking syndicate in the state.

He also said police have uncovered several budget hotel owners, taxi drivers and factory bus operators who were in cohorts with these masterminds.
