It began as a heartwarming tale of police officers in Kuala Lipis helping a senior citizen they found on the roadside, about one kilometre from his home. They took him home and bought him groceries.

However, the story has taken the most tragic turn, after the 74-year-old found man was dead one day after he was helped by the officers.
