India, that has a population of over 1.3 billion people, is testing only 12 people per lakh. Over 8,000 cases have been registered and more than 200 lives lost. These numbers tell us that the rate at which people are tested in India is not enough, especially when there are people with no symptoms also testing coronavirus positive.
