Shab-e-Barat is a very special festival for those who believe in the religion of Islam. According to the Islamic calendar, this special night is celebrated on the 15th of Shaban, the eighth month of the year. This year, Shab-e-Baaraat will start from the evening of 8 April which will run till sunrise on 9 April next day. On this night, people wake up and offer prayers and apologize for their sins. It is believed that on this day, the sins of every person who comes at the rate of Allah gets forgiveness.

इस्लाम धर्म को मानने वाले लोगों के लिए शब-ए-बारात बहुत खास पर्व है। इस्लामी कैलेंडर के मुताबिक ये विशेष रात साल के आठवें महीने शाबान की 15 तारीख को मनाई जाती है। इस साल शब-ए-बारात की शुरुआत 8 अप्रैल की शाम से होगी जो अगले दिन 9 अप्रैल की सुबह सूर्योदय तक चलेगा। इस रात में लोग जागकर इबादत करते हैं और अपने गुनाहों की माफ़ी मांगते हैं। ऐसी मान्यता है कि इस दिन अल्लाह के दर पर आने वाले हर शख्स के गुनाहों को माफ़ी मिल जाती है।
