Ecuadorian president Lenin Moreno recognized that official records on the novel coronavirus outbreak in Ecuador are far from the real numbers. The number of confirmed coronavirus cases around the world surpassed one million this Thursday, as the pandemic spread at a "near exponential" rate. There are now over 6,400 confirmed novel coronavirus cases across the African continent.
