Amid the outbreak of Corona virus, the central government has drastically cut interest rates on small savings schemes, including the National Saving Certificate and PPF. The new interest rates are for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2021-21 ie from April to June. The government has reduced interest rates on small saving schemes by 1.4 per cent.

कोरोना वायरस के प्रकोप के बीच केंद्र सरकार ने नेशनल सेविंग सर्टिफिकेट और पीपीएफ समेत स्मॉल सेविंग स्कीम्स पर ब्याज दरों में भारी कटौती की है। नई ब्याज दरें वित्तवर्ष 2021-21 की पहली तिमाही यानी अप्रैल से जून के लिए है। सरकार ने स्मॉल सेविंग स्कीम्स पर 1.4 फीसदी तक ब्याज दरें घटा दी हैं।
