"Dr. Doom" economist Nouriel Roubini says three things will send the US into a greater depression than the one seen in the 1930s.
According to Business Insider, Roubini is named the Dr. Doom economist for his pessimistic views.
On a call with Influence for Good this week, Roubini warned of the "Bermuda Triangle" of three risks to the US and the global economy.
The first would be if the US follows the disastrous example of Italy, and restart the economy too soon after mandatory coronavirus lockdowns.
The second is the risk that so much borrowing by the federal government will drive inflation up to unsustainable levels.
Finally, Roubini wars that there may be a geopolitical series of shocks, such as cyber warfare between the US and China.
