In Cluj-Napoca, hundreds of people attended the open-air religious service at the Metropolitan Cathedral on March 22, with parishioners queuing in front of priests to receive Holy Communion, which was done with the same spoon.
Romanian authorities reported as of March 23, that a large spike in cases occurred in the last 24 hours, with 143 new cases being documented, bringing it to a total of 576.
